Love this paper

Ok this is a card not attached to a sketch challenge. The stamp set is from Stampin' UP. The paper I used on the image is Xerox heavyweight matte cover. I saw this mentioned on one of my groups. I stamped it with Stazon and sponged die ink in for color. If you are going to sponge the ink on you have to use the Stazon. The Stazon cannot however be colored with copics. Somewhere on one of my groups it also said to use black foam on top of your card when scanning. It seems like this way the colors are truer.

This is my card for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge. The background paper is embossed with an embossing folder. I love embossing folders. The image is stamped with peg stamps from Rubber Stamp Tapestry. I added some stickle among the flowers, which you can't see al all. A guy at work did some work on lap top. Payment is several cards for his wife. It works for me.

Technique Junkie-Herringbone

I made this card for a girl at work. The technique is from Technique Junkies and is called Herringbone. She loves to quilt so I had to do this card. The stamp is from Stampin' UP. I love this stamp because it looks like embroidery.

CPS #150 and KS Crew Challenge #21

I got this card sketch from Card Positioning Systems. The stamps are from Kitchen Sink. The challenge at Kitchen Sink was to stitch on your card. I love these stamps because they are multilayer. I am new to this so am still playing and learning about placement.

TSSC105

I made this card from the sketch from Techno Stamper. The color on the scan is a little off. The coloring is more of a denim color. Stamp is from Stampscapes. Someone on one of my Yahoo groups said to stamp images you want to highlight with color on Xerox heavyweight matt paper. I was very impressed with this paper. I think I am going to have to try some more shading with this paper.
I did this card in a sort of hurry for an uncle that just had heart surgery. I should have planned a little better. I wish I would have put some texture on the long blue piece.

MMSC#37

This is my card for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge. The top of the card is vellum. I stamped with white Stazon and then embossed it with a stylet. The image in the middle is from Hero Arts. I put some glitter on the butterfly.

This is the card I made for the Card Patterns Sketch Challenge. I tried scanning and taking a picture of this card and neither really showed the colors as I would have liked. The cabin and the saying are from Gina K. The background trees are from Stampscapes. The technique used on the tag is from Splitcoast Stamper and is called Stained Mosiac.

CPS149

This card is for the challenge at CPS Card Sketches. I am also going to use this card for a swap in one of my Yahoo groups. It had to be a card with birds on it. The paper and the stamps are from Stampin' Up. The bird and flower are colored with copic markers.

MMSC#36

This is the card I made for the midnight madness sketch challenge. It seems a little simple, but I love the colors. I got this paper from one of the ladies in my Yahoo group. I know the sketch shows like layers on the side, but this paper seem so perfect. It is sparkly and I fell in love with the colors. The stamp is from an image swap but is Magnolia. I colored the little girl with copics.

25 sets for Gina K

This is a card I made with a set I just purchased from Gina K. The set is called Inspiration Mosaic. The designer is Melanie Muenchinger and she is celebrating 25 sets with Gina K. I absolutely love this Mosaic set. The words also came from this set. The flowers and the butterfly came from a clear set by Hero Arts. The sparkle dots are stickles. I can see using this set alot. The possibilities are endless.

TSSC102

This is my card for the Techno Stamper Challenge. I didn't have the top note die, so I used a large label die that I had. The sentiment stamp is from Stampin' UP. My goal for this year is to use things in my stash that have been pushed to the back and maybe never used.
