SSS45and Bildmalarna Challenge 3

This is a card I made for the challenge at The Sweet Stop. I just got this new stamp from Bildmalarna and the sentiment stamp is from JustRite. Both were ordered from Stamping Scrapping. I colored the little girl with copic markers. The background was made with an embossing plate from Stampin' Up. You can't tell from the picture, but the yellow and orange have a metallic look to them and that paper came from Paper Temptress. Also want to enter this card in the Bildmalarna Blog Challenge 3

Stamp Something Challenge

This card is for the challenge at Stamp Something. The challenge was to use designer paper, ribbon and buttons. The flowever stamp is from Gina K and the oval and words are from JustRite. I just got the JustRite stamps and love what they add to the card.

For one of the swaps I need to do for next time, the card was to be green, black and white. I really tried to get a good picture of this card and had seen people talking about natural lighting. I even went outside. The things you cannot see in the picture are that the black is embossed and the white is a spellbinders die and has a ridge around it.

ODBDSLC4

This is the card I made for the Challenge at Our Daily Bread is called a Teepee Card. I did this one in three colors and used an embossing folder on each surface. The colors I used were pink, teal and brown. It was sort of hard to take a picture and show all the surfaces, so I concentrated on the main surface. The stamps are from Inkadinkado. I also used a little yellow stickles on the middle of the flower.

I had to make a spring card for my local card swap and was looking for something different. The good thing is that it fits in a standard size envelope.

MMSC42

This is my entry for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge. It is a little different than the sketch because the background was supposed to be at an angle. I just couldn't get this to work for me. I think my main image was too big, but this is the image I was determined to use. It was given to me by a stamping friend. Also the person I wanted to send this card to loves angels. So I guess sorry if it is a little off, but it worked for me.

Critter Sketch Challenge #1 and Stampin' Royalty

I made this card for the first Critter Sketch Challenge. I used several Technique Junkie techniques on this card. In the background I used the faux painted paneling technique with wonderful Jupiter Red Mica Metallic paper from Paper Temptress. I also used the wisper frames around the edge of the picture. The stamp is from Stampscapes. The challenge was to use the sketch and use red in the card. As mentioned on one of the other posts, my dad's birthday is coming up and he loves red, so I'm going to give this card to my daughter to send to grandpa.
This card can also be used for the Stampin' Royalty Challenge. The theme here was a masculine card.

Ks Crew Challenge #22 and GC42 spicy Supply Lace/Fibers

This is my card for two challenges. First is the Kitchen Sink challenge. The challenge here was to start with plain paper and make your own paper. All the stamps on the card are from Kitchen Sink. The background was a really cute little stamp I got free with my order. The technique is from Technique Junkies and is called depth of field. I just love Kitchen Sink stamps because they are multi stamp stamps and the image has so much dimension to it.

The second challenge is from Gingersnap Creations. Here you were to lace or fibers. I had some really pretty brown shiny raffia that I used.

Technique by Design

This is the card I made for the Technique Junkies- Technique by Design. It uses Bingo Blast, Marker tapping and a sort of abbreviated Bleached wash. The Bleached wash technique you are to take the color out of the middle image. I did that but then put a little pink back in. The main images uses Wisped Frames( also abbreviated because I liked it on two corners). The stamps used are from Stampin' UP and the Happy Birthday is from Hero Arts. I also used embossing folders on several of the squares.

This is my card for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge and the Romance challenge at Gingersnap Creations. The heart stamp is old one from Stampendous. The one in the corner is older from Hero Arts. I colored both images with copic markers. I did add some glitter to the wreath and the upper corner flower, but it doesn't show up on the scan.
