MMSC47

This is my card for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge this week. The image is from Stampin' Up[ and the sentiment is from Just Rite. I colored with copic markers. Still playing with camera and lighting. It is getting better, but I really want the colors I see on my card. They are getting closer, but still not exact. Thanks for visiting.
Added a bigger picture of the card. I don't know how to get rid of the first picture. Will start to add larger pictures of the cards.

Critter Challenge #7 and MSL #7

I got the sketch for this card from the Critter Sketch Challeng Blog. I also wanted this card for the challenge at Magnolia Stamp Lovers. Here you were to use a Magnolia stamp and the color had to be purple. I thought it would be interesting to use another one of the Magnolia images besides the little girl. This also uses a technique from the new Technique Junkies newsletter called Masked Spellbinders. This card also uses another technique from Technique Junkies called wisped frames.

Jazzy Paper Designs and SSS49

A friend in my Yahoo group recommended the Jazzy Paper Designs Challenge. The challenge was to use a Kenny Dorham CD cover for your inspiration. The colors were a little outside of my comfort zone, but that makes the challenge. I used the sketch from the Sweet Stop. The stamp set is from Stampin' Up.

Critter Blog Hop Sketch Challenge

Critter Sketch Challenge Blog is having their first blog hop. There was some fantastic cards there. They are also having a sketch challenge with the hop. This is my card. The rules were to follow the sketch and add some jewels. I'm not sure the picture really shows this, but this card is an easel card.

SSS48

The is my card for the Sweet Stop Challenge. The challenge was to use the sketch and make it fuzzy. I used flocking on the rabbit on my card. I have never really dealt with flocking. The glue that came with the kit sort of pooled in the middle and I wasn't sure I liked that but it sort of made the rabbit look dimensional

Stamp Royalty #12 and Bildmalarna Challenge #5

I am going to use this card for two challenges. The first is Stamp Royalty. The challenge here was glitter. I made the flowers on this card using white flowers, diamond glaze tinted with reinker and some glitter. The ribbon has a sheen to it and the sentiment is stamped and embossed with wonderful glitter embossing powder from PK Glitz.

The second challenge is at Bildmalarna. This challenge was embossing and flowers. The background is embossed with a Sizzix embossing plate. This is my second entry with this stamp, but she is just so cute. Also this card doesn't look like the previous.

MMSC46

This is my card for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge this week. It is not my typical size. My daughter is doing a Easter basket for a local assisted living facility. She wanted the card to be larger so it was sort of the center of the basket. I am also trying to work at making the pictures posted look better and clearer. There is not much stamping on this card, but I love the punches to make the rabbit.

The circle was a punch. The sketch came from Stamp Royalty. I needed a card for a guy at work that just had a little girl. This should work perfectly.

Stamp Royalty #10

The challenge this week at Stamp Royalty was to use green. I did need a male birthday card, so this would fit. The stamps are all from Stampscapes. I liked the black to offset the green and used a distressing tool around the edges.

March Referral Program and GC46--Frosting

This is my card the Artistic Outpost March Referral Program. The theme was celebration. This card also applies for the challenge at Gingersnap Creations which was also to be a celebration theme with some extra frosting. I used stickles on the girls dress and on the hearts on her hat. All the stamps are from Artistic Outpost. I colored the girl and dog with copic markers.

Kitchen Sink Crew Challenge #23

This is my card for the Kitchen Sink Challenge for this month. The challenge was to use masking. I am not real great with this. I used masking fluid that have rarely used from my stash of supplies.

MMSC #44 and Inspiration Challenge #4

I made this card for two challenges. The first is for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge. The actual sketch came from here. The second was at Critter Sketch Challenge Blog. The challenge here was to use flowers and the colors yellow, green and blue. The stamp I used for this card is from Kitchen Sink. It is a multilayer stamp process and gives some fantastic results. I am still a beginner to these stamps and don't always get everything perfectly layered. The sentiment is from JustRite. This is one of my new favorite companies also.

SSS46, Magnolia Stamp Lovers Challenge #5, GC43

This is my card for several challenges. The sketch came from the Sweet Stop. I used a magnolia stamp and on the Magnolia Stamp Lovers the challenge was to use pink and brown. Finally the challenge at Gingersnap Creations was to make a card using your three favorite colors. The colors I am drawn to lately are brown, teal and pink. The pink background on this card uses a technique from Technique Junkies called double bugging, so it was run through an embossing folder once, highlighted with ink and then run through a different folder. The image is colored with copic markers. The punch on the bottome is from Fiscars. The words are from JustRite.

This is my card for the challenge at Our Daily Bread. The stamp is from Stampin' UP. The beautiful orange paper is sparkly and is from Paper Temptress. I used a cuttlebug folder on the background paper. For a swap I needed to incorporate faux paper tearing. That is the piece on the bottom.

Stamp Royalty #9

This is my card for the Stamp Royalty Challenge. The challenge was to let a posted picture inspire me. The picture was a craft room with different cubbies for things. I think this mosiac stamp from Gina K is perfect. Some of the flowers on this card are from Gina K and the others are from Rubber Stamp Tapestry.

Critter sketch Challenge #3

This is for the Critter Sketch Challenge. The middle is done with tea bag folding. I stamped the pieces and this stamp is made by impression obsession. The sentiment part if from JustRite.
