Fall ATC

This is an ATC for a new group that I am in.  We had to use the ombre effect.  The card was also supposed to use shades of gold.  The wheat in the background is from Hero Arts.  The sentiment is from Stampin' Up and the fence is from Stampscapes.  The fence is embossed with distressed embossing powder.

Happy Halloween

These are some treats I made for my mom to hand out at the nursing home.  It is a little file folder made on the Making Memories envelope punch board.  The base is 3 x 5 inches.  The piece is scored at 2 1/4 and 2 1/2 inches.  The short side is put into the envelope board punch.  Line up the left side with the 2 inch mark.  Flip the piece around and do the other side.  Line up the piece in your paper trimmer and cut off the small extra piece.  Fold on scored lines.  A small Kit Kat bar fits perfectly in this cute folder.  The Halloween sentiment is from Stampin' Up and the tag sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

Halloween Inspiration

This is a card we made on a make and take when I recently went on a scrapbook day with some other local ladies.  The tree and spooky are wooden and were painted.  Love how cute it turned out.
All of these little boxes were made from this pattern.  The little figures were from a kit I got from Papertrey Ink. These were prestamped images, but the kit includes the dies and stamps to make more.  The are made to actually fit on clothes pins.  Found these to be so cute.  They also make a Christmas set I just had to have.

Congratulations for new baby

This is a baby card for my nephew's wife.  I know it is sort of odd to be red and white, but the theme for the shower is St. Louis Cardinals. This is my post for Paper Temptress.

The base for this card , highlight for the images and sentiment is Vermillion Malermo Perle.  This gave the card a little bit of sparkle.  The images and the layer for the main images is Cryogen White.   I did pop up the images just for a little texture.  The  dotted squares  are embossed with red embossing powder.  This is a pretty simple card, but I do like the look.

Now to a new note.  Paper Temptress is starting a facebook challenge  page.  The first post starts November 10.  So keep an eye out.  The girls are putting together some great inspiration!

Sweet Treats

Well Halloween is right around the corner.  I love different little candy boxes.  The front and back of this little box is cut from Flame Mica Metallic.  The die is from Spellbinders and is the small octagons.  The orange is the largest die and the white layer is the second largest.  The white layer is Cryogen White.  The Dracula and his hands are also cut from Cryogen.  The stamps for Dracula, the hands, and the sentiment are from Papertreyink, com.   The stamps have a matching die set .  I just could not resist this set.  The spider web is from Treasures to Remember.  The tombstone is Bluestone Classic Linen.
Now I want to tell you about the box.   I used Neenah Solar White #110 for the box pieces.  This is nice and heavy and stands up well for the box. The base is 1 3/4 x 2 inches and is scored at 1/4 inch on all sides.  The little squares at the corners are cut out.
The sides are 2 x 2 3/4 inches.  These pieces are scored at 1/4 inch on both long sides.  I hope this picture helps.  I got the idea from here.
