MMSC #105

Here is my card for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge this week.  The stamp is from Penny Black.  All the paper used is from Paper Temptress.  The paper used is Olive Brown Bag, Poison Ivory Glimmer and Burgandy Basis.  I also used Tatored Rose Distress ink.  I wanted lace and only had white, so I used some ink to change the color so that it would match.

First Paper Temptress Post

This is my project for my first post being on the Paper Temptress Design Team. I got the idea from the Technique Junkies CD called Fancy Folds and Motion.  The project is called Curved Pocket with Bookmark.  All the wonderful glittery paper came from Paper Temptress.  The yellow is text weight and is called Mangue Sparkle.  The text weight was perfect because the Pocket folded easier with the text weight paper.  The white is cryogen white and also has sparkle.  The copics color beautifully on it. and the last paper is Starburst Lichen Glimmer.  I had some embossing glitter from PK Glitz and it matched the Starburst Lichen glimmer paper perfectly.

Party Time Tuesday's #16

This card uses the Technique Junkies technique called antique wallpaper.  I used stormy sky and tattered rose distress ink.  The flowere was made with a 1 inch circle which I applied Best Glue Ever to.  I let this dry until it was clear (it stays very tacky).  I then added the ribbon.  The sketch for this card came from Party Time Tuesday.  I guess I messed up a little because this was the sketch from last week.

MMSC #104

I needed a card for a girl at work that has been in the hospital.  I just bought this stamp and love the pots of tulips.  The stamp is made by Northwoods Rubber Stamps.  I colored the tulips with copic markers and then added some stickles for bling.  The sketch came from the challenge at Midnight Madness

Technique Junkies---Cute Cuts

I used a technique from Technique Junkies for this card.  It is called Cute Cuts.  I embossed the dark background with the pattern.  Then I embossed the same pattern on the lighter card stock, cute the stripes and layered.  The embossing folder is from Sizzix and the set is called Flourish Dots and Ribbon.  I love this embossing folder.

MMSC #102

Here is a birthday card for my uncle.  I love this background for this card because my uncle used to own a newspaper.  The background is stamped with Newsprint Cover a card from Impression Obsession.  I love this line of stamps because you can make your own background paper and the possibilities are endless.  The Tree stamp is from Stampin' UP.  The sketch came from Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge

Mother's Day Card

This is a Mother's Day card for a friend of mine at work.  It is going to be from his dog to his wife.  It says the dog is very verble and that is why the RH... rh is stamped in the background.  Also the dog slings druel around and that is why I added diamond glaze like druel.  Not a traditional card, but it sort of fits.

Do You Stack Up #18

The challenge at Do You Stack Up is purple.  I had this background on my desk and thought it would work.  The stamps used are from Rubber Stamp Tapestry.  The two cut pieces were done with s Spellbinders set.  The white cord around the edge came from Paper Temptress

Stamp Something with wings

I had to make to 3 ATC's with birds. The challenge at Stamp Something was that the project had something with wings.

MMSC #101

The challenge at Technique Junkies this week was white on white. I have never really tried this, but the look is very elegant. I just got this new embossing folder from Sizzix. I love embossing folders. The sketch for this design came from the Midnight Madness Sketch challenge
