MMSC #97

I'm not sure that I am perfectly on target for this card. The inspiration came from Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge. The sketch inspired me to do framing with Torn Frame from Technique Junkies. This card is for a guy at work whose dog is one tomorrow. Alright this is a little silly, but Winston is like their child. He is an Italian Spimoni and cost a good chunk of money. These are my three. Misha is the black Bernese Mountain dog, Pepper is the beagle and Buddy is the Corgi. This is one of my favorite picture of the three of them and I have used it numerous times. They all line up on the deck when we come outside of pull into the driveway.

Do You Stack Up #12

Shine on is the theme for Do you Stack Up this week. I made the glitter paper on the right using paper run through a xyron. I then applied lace to the piece and applied the darker glitter. I then took the lace off and applied the light color glitter. I made the glitter brads by putting the end of the brad on a versamark pad and then dipping the brad in embossing glitter.

MMSC #96

I am off today and hope to get some time in my crafting room. This is the card that I made for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge this week. The mosaic stamp is a Melanie Muenchinger stamp. the flowers and the thinking of you are from Stampin' Up. The challenge at Technique Junkies this week was to use a technique called faux shaving cream. This technique was used on the flowers.

Stampscapes

This is a card I made for by Uncle. They just had to put him in an assisted living facility. He has always been so independent and I am sure this is hard on him. He always loves getting the handmade cards, so I hope this will give him a smile. The stamps used are Stampscapes and some that are discontinued from Firecracker Designs which is now out of business.

MMSC #94, Stamp Royalty #64, and Stamp Something

The sketch for this card came from Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge. The challenge at Stamp Royalty is green. The challenge at Stamp Something is to use Cream and Green. The background on this card uses a technique from Technique Junkies called Double Bugging. The paper I used is from Paper Temptress and is called Olive Brown Bag. One side is the beautiful olive color and the other is the brown bag color.

Stampscapes

I am in a Stampscapes group on Yahoo and the swap this month was to be green. I stamped the card in shades of green. Added green to the edge with distress ink and blender. I colored the moon with some glitter chalk.

Sketch challenge from Inky Fun Stamper Yahoo group

This is a challenge for the month at Inkyfunstampes. All the paper here was stamped. The middle pattern is called Millefiori from Technique Junkies. The pattern below that is from Impression Obsession and uses their Mega Mount grip.

Just Us Girls #74

The sketch for this card came from Just Us Girls. The stamps used are all from Stampin Up as are the dies that were used. The bottom pattern is made by stamping with a Versamark pad and embossing with PK Glitz glitter embossing powder. These were sort of odd colors for me, but I was sort of in a rut so I used an old Stampin' Up color wheel and picked colors that I liked.

MMSC #93 and Stamp Something

The sketch for this card came from the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge. The technique in the background is called Waxy Cuttlebug from Technique Junkies. The stamp and embossing folder are from Stampin' Up. I also used Spellbinders Deckled Rectangles for the layers. The challenge at Stamp Something is flowers so this should work.
I also added Tessler sunshine glitter paint to the center of the flower. I colored the flower with copic markers

Rubber Stamp Tapestry Background

Here is a card using stamps from one of my favorite companies. The background paper was white. I stamped with Versacolor Green Tea and then added the chalk. I also added stickles. My backgrounds are never as fantastic as the ones at Rubber Stamp Tapestry, but I like the look. I also love this saying. It is made by Verses Rubbers Stamps.
