Torn Frame--Something with flowers challenge

Ok in case you haven't figured it out I love techniques. This uses torn frame and I love how it sets the image off. I stamped the image multiple times and layed the images. The image was colored with copic markers. The challenge at Stamp Something was to make something with flowers.

Depth of field

This card uses a varigated pad for the background and technique called depth of field from Technique Junkies. You ink the stamp and just keep stamping until essentially the ink is gone. It really gives you some dimention.

Penciled Twinks

This card uses a technique called Penciled Twinks from Technique Junkies. You use water color pencils and Twinkling H2O to color the image. This card needed to have stitching on it, so I used the Sew Easy to do the zig zag stitch.

some tags

I usually only post things on my blog that are for challenges. On looking at other blogs, it appears they post all the cards they make. So here it goes. I am trying to get my swaps done for this coming month. These are two tags that I made. I am not a real sticker user, but got some given to me and figured I might as well use them. I did stamp the background on both.

MMSC #92 and Do You Stack Up #8

The sketch for this card came from the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge. The technique used is from Technique Junkies and is called Neutral Shadows. This technique is so simple. You just emboss the image in white and then add your color with a stiple brush. The stamp used is from Great Impressions. The challenge at Do you Stack Up is anything goes. Hoping spring is coming so the colors I used are pastel.

Do you Stack Up #7

This card uses a little technique called depth of field for the background. The challenge at Do you stack up was dots. I have dots in the background and on the ribbon. Trying to use some of my supplies that don't get used much. I liked how these colors came together.

MMSC #91

I am running really behind this week. I usually have this done on the weekend. This is my card for the Midnight Madness Challenge this week. The technique on the flower is from Technique Junkies and is called Mini Kissing. The beautiful gold edged ribbon on the top I got from The Paper Temptress. The ribbon has a thread running through it so you can just pull it to make the ruffle. I used gold ribbon then to cover the thread. The stamp set is from Stampin' Up.

Do You Stack Up #6

Here is my card for the challenge for DYSU. The challenge was to use ribbon. I used ribbon on the pieced section in the center and the added the ribbon stripes. I am not one to do really dimensional cards, but this flowere is the rage on Stampin' Up sites right now. I know I can hand deliver the card so that works.

Do You Stack Up #5

Here is my card for the Red challenge at Do You Stack UP. The stamp is from Artistic Outpost and the Background technique is called Distressed Colorblocking. This technique is so easy and really gives a great distressed look. Mom if you look at this card guess who's birthday card this is?

MMSC #89

Here is my card for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge this week. I needed a birthday card for my daughter. The flower is embossed in white and then I took a Versamark pen and used it on the inside of the flowers and embossed it again with shiny embossing powder. I saw this on Stamp TV. The paper is from SEI and also has glitter on it. I also made a layer of the same glitter on the layer under the main image.
