Make it Monday #78

This was my post for Paper Temptress today so all the paper used came from Paper Temptress. I decided this would be my entry for Make It Monday  I am stepping a bit out of my box on this one. I am not really one to make a card that isn't mailable in a regular envelope, but I saw these flowers in my Cardmaker magazine and just had to try them. I did not have the exact punch, but made do with what I had. I cut a piece of Sandy Stripe Vellum (Peachy Velvet Stripe would substitute well) 6 1/2 x 1 1/2 and then used a border punch on the piece. I scored it to coordinate with the pattern and accordian folded the piece. I glued the ends to make a circle. I pushed the circle down and glued the flower to a 1 inch piece of scrap cardstock. The card base is Basis Light Yellow. The pink layer is Mountain Rose Glimmer and Magenta Basis. The green layer is Serpentine Mica/Meltallic and Teal Basis. I then just had to add a little ribbon

Such a pretty card! Love the vibrancy of the pink papers you have used along with the more subtle colours! Saw this on MIM!
