CAS-ual Friday #55

The challenge at CAS-ual Friday this week is bling.  I am not sure the picture shows all my bling.  All the designer paper has spots of glitter on it.  Also the flower and the hi are embossed with embossing glitter.  The center of the flower is glitzy and the ribbon also has sheen in it.

Totally Gorjuss #133 and Party Time Tuesday #70

I am not really one to use designer paper, but have a pretty large supply, so I decided to stop hording it and use it.  The challenge at Party Time Tuesday is anything goes.  The challenge at Totally Gorjuss was to use something new.  I am a real sucker for punches and dies and I used a Martha Stewart set to do the punching here. It is a thing right now to make the flowerettes, so I gave that a try with a scrap of paper I had.

CAS-ual Friday #54

The challenge at CAS-ual Friday this week was to make a masculine card that included designer paper.  I have such a stash of paper and rarely use designer paper ,so here it is.  I am going to start using my stash! I think I will use this card for my father-in-law for father's day.

Do You Stack Up #73

The theme at Do You Stack Up this week was a little birdie told me.  I love techniques and the try it technique at Techniques Junkies this week was layered masking.  So here is the card I came up with.

Make it Monday #91

This was my post on the Paper Temptress site on Sunday.  I am not usually a digital image person, however I found a book at Barnes and Noble called The Complete Guide to Digital Crafting. The magazine was a little pricy, but came with two CD's that gave you a bunch of digital images, paper and trials of several programs. So this is another wedding card with the same colors that I previously used because it is going to the same wedding. I used Neenah Solar White to print the image out on. I used the Black Felt Grandee for the black background. Love the thickness, deep black color and texture of this cardstock. All the green on the card is Olive Basis. I added pearls and black buttons to the image. I also used stickles on the dress. Paper Temptress is also carrying small ivory paper roses now. How perfect is that? This is my entry for Make it Monday this week.

CFC #53 and DYSU #72

Running really late on the Do You Stack Up Challenge .where the challenge was to make a landscape. The stamps I used are from Stampscapes. I know people really make complicated scenes with these stamps, but I like the effect. The wheat background is from Hero Arts. The second challenge is at CASual Friday and the challenge was to use a punch or a die. I think I am going to use this for my Father's Day card for my father-in-law.

MMSC #138 and MIM #90

The sketch for this card came form the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge.  Since it is Monday again I will be listing this card on Make It Monday also.  I rarely use digital images but while on vacation the other week we went to Barnes and Noble and I found a magazine called The Complete Guide to Digital Crafting.  It was a little pricy but ccame with 2 CD's full of digital images and digital paper.  It also has samples of several popular software programs that are out there.  This image was just perfect for a girl at work that golfs.
